6-DAY ecuador mountain biking TOUR
FULL Ecuador biking ADVENTURE
Day one: leaving Quito in the morning we ride south on the pan American highway. after 80 km. By jeep we come to the entrance of the cotopaxi national park. Cotopaxi is the highest active volcano on earth at 5897 meters above sea level. here we will visit a small museum, and then drive up to 4500 meters Where our cotopaxi mountain bike adventure  begins. we provide the bikes, helmets, knee and elbow-pads and gloves. On this first day you ride for about 45 km. Overnight in Ambato with the chance to eat the famous "Cuy" (roasted guinea pig).
Day two: We leave ambato to go farther south to Chimborazo, the highest Mountain in Ecuador. by car we go to 4800 meters above sea level where we will start a hike to reach the refuge at 5000 meters. Back down at 4800 meters starts the chimborazo bike tour, a great ride through Andes landscape for about 75 km. Overnight in Banos.
Day three: A free day. You can decide to rest and hang around in this nice little village with its hot-springs, do some horse back riding, hiking or go rafting. overnight in the same place.
 Day four: a nice bike ride from Banos into the jungle for 80 km. Then further by jeep to Misahualli for the night in this little nice jungle town.
Day five: a complete day on a jungle tour, with a native guide and canoe who will explain all about the flora and fauna and the way the people live out here. Overnight again in Misahualli.
Day six: First a bike ride out of the jungle, about 40 km. Then a transfer by jeep to the best hot springs in Ecuador, at 3300 meters To wash off all the dust, and eat the best trout you can find. then we return to Quito.
