biking and hiking tour
WE WILL LEAVE QUITO HEADING SOUTH FOR AN 80 KM. RIDE ON THE FAMOUS  PANAMERICAN HIGHWAY WITH SOME PHOTO STOPS ON THE WAY. WHEN WE REACH THE COTOPAXI NATIONAL PARK, we WILL VISIT A SMALL MUSEUM AND THEN WE WILL DRIVE YOU UP BY JEEP TO 4500 METERS ABOVE SEA LEAVEL, WHERE YOUR cotopaxi DOWNHILL bike tour WILL START.
enjoy GREAT VIEWS OF 11 SURROUNDING MOUNTAINS including ANTISANA, CAYAMBE, AND ILLINIZAS. FIRST, A GREAT DOWNHILL RIDE THAT BRINGS YOU DOWN TO 3850 Meters above sea level AND THEN YOU RIDE ON THE ECUADORIAN HIGH PLAINS WERE WE WILL HAVE A HOME MADE LUNCH. THEN WE CONTINUE RIDING THRough THE PARK UNTIL THE END OF OUR ALMOST 40 KM. RIDE
FOR YOUR SAFETY, YOU WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A HELMET, KNEE AND ELBOW PADS AND GLOVES, AS WELL AS WITH A FRONT SUSPENSION AND V BRAKE BIKE. YOU WILL ENJOY AN ALMOST 40 KM. RIDE, with SnACKS, FRUITS, DRINKS AND LUNCH provided. OUR MOST EXPERIENCED RIDERS HAVE QUALIFIED AS THE BEST ONE THEY HAVE EVER DONE.
We will also take a cotopaxi BIKE tour to VISIT SOME INCA RUINS AND AN OVERNIGHT STAY IN THE NATIONAL PARK.
DAY 2: A HIKE TO THE Cotopaxi GLACIER AT 4,900 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL.
TWO-DAY COTOPAXI AND CHIMBORAZO biking tour
 DAY 1: SAME AS OUR ONE-DAY COTOPAXI mountain bike TOUR PLUS TRANSFER TO AMBATO OR RIOBAMBA WHERE WE WILL STAY AT A HOTEL. DO NOT MISS THE CHANCE OF TASTING THE FAMOUS "CUY", ROAST GUINEA PIG WHICH IS A TRADITIONAL AND DELICIOUS ECUADORIAN DISH.
DAY 2: WE WILL DRIVE YOU UP, BY JEEP, TO CHIMBORAZO, THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN ECUADOR, (6310 M.) TO REACH THE FIRST REFUGE AT 4800 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL. FROM THE REFUGE, WE WILL HIKE TO 5000 METERS TO HAVE A CUP OF STIMULATING WARM COFFEE AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD. BACK TO THE REFUGE and OUR DOWNHILL chimborazo bike RIDE TO RIOBAMBA begins. LUNCH AND PHOTO STOP AT A FRIENDLY INDIAN VILLAGE.
ONCE IN RIOBAMBA OR AMBATO, YOU MAY RETURN TO QUITO WITH US OR YOU MAY TAKE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING EXCITING OPTIONS ON YOUR OWN: RAFTING OR HORSE RIDING IN BAÑOS, OR THE SPECTACULAR TRAIN RIDE FROM RIOBAMBA TO THE SPOT KNOWN AS "NARIZ DEL DIABLO" (THE DEVIL'S NOSE). ON THIS TOUR YOU WILL HIKE FOR ABOUT ONE HOUR AND A HALF, AND BIKE 95 KM.
two-day COTOPAXI and QUILOTOA bike tour
 The first day is the same as the Cotopaxi one-day tour. then a transfer to the little town of Quilotoa on the edge of the active volcano with the same name that has a beautiful lake inside its crater.
We spend the night with an native family, so you can experience the culture of the people that live in the ecuadorian andes.
Day 2: after breakfast we take a hike into the crater, with amazing views. after lunch a fast bike ride to Latacunga and then back to Quito.
